Change in direction of blog

I started this blog to write about my experience with NAET - whether or not it would help with my Rheumatoid Arthritis. Actually I did the NAET treatments for almost a year- after which I stopped .
Why did I stop? I was going to Sister Naina's Clinic at Koramangla. Frankly speaking - it was too far from my house. I took me almost 3 hours to go there and come back. Add to it the 30-40 minutes required for each treatment - it would be like 3.5 + hours from my day. Now keep in mind I have 2 kids and a job - such a schedule was not sustainable.

In a later post I shall review how much/little the treatment really helped me. For now let me say that I have stopped NAET for the time being. I maybe plan to resume - but not at this moment . I need someone nearer to where I stay.

Anyways - I will use this blog now to write about other things that interest me. That could include my struggles with rheumatoid arthritis - the medications and treatment modes that tried out and much more. I will also use this place to post random thoughts that vourse across my mind .

Aug 25th - My first session

I first heard about Sister Naina ( and NAET) from a fellow patient at my Dentist's clinic. My dentist ( who BTW one of the prettiest women I have known who has two equally pretty daughters) told me about this patient of hers who was almost crippled with RA ( the same ailment I suffer from ) . This lady had visited Sister Naina and was in her own words 99 % cured.
I wrote to Sister Naina giving my case history and she agreed to treat me. The premise of her treatment is that autoimmune diseases are mostly caused by allergies to certain things ( in most cases several things) . Once the allergies are removed - body can absorb nutrients from food more efficiently and can become more healthy.

In my first session Sister Naina made me fill out a health questionaire and gave me my first treatment with BBF. I felt really good after the session. It kind of made me feel energized .

Now what was the "session" like ? Well I held a small glass vial ( with some liquid in it) inside a larger glass container. I lay face down on the treatment table ( while holding the glass container ). My back was massaged using a electric handheld device. Then I had to sit for 20 minutes holding the glass container. During this 20 minute span I was not supposed to cross my arms or feet and not read anything. After the 20 minutes were up I again lay face down on the treatment table while my back was massaged.

Then I was shown 10 pressure points of my hands and feet - which I was supposed to massage in a clockwise direction ( in order ) immediately after each treatment and also after each meal.

Thus endeth my first session of NAET :)

Introduction

I have been suffering from RA ( Aka Rheumatoid arthritis for the last 5 years ). I decided to create this blog to track my progress NAET as a form of treatment.

My NAET practitioner is sister Naina and I will post a detailed history sometime later ( when I have time - which is sadly always in short supply)

I started my treatment on 25th August and I will record my experiences of all the treatments in this blog
